Waiting List

Our Centre follows The Australian Government’s Priority of Access Guidelines for allocating vacant places, which is as follows

  • Priority 1—a child at risk of serious abuse or neglect
  • Priority 2—a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work, training, study test under section 14 of the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999
  • Priority 3—any other child

Enrolment Form

In order to properly care for children an enrolment form must be completed prior to a child’s attendance at WOOSHC. The enrolment form must contain all relevant details relating to personal, medical and custodial details for each child, parent or guardian and emergency contacts along with any special requirements relating to that child. Specific or long-term medical conditions will require the completion of a Medical management plan with the child’s doctor and parent. An updated copy of the child’s immunisation and birth certificate is also required.

Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying WOOSHC immediately of any changes parents can update details through Xplor to their current details including –

  • Custody orders in place.
  • Health information
  • Emergency contacts
  • Home Address
  • Email Address

Re-Enrolment

Children currently attending WOOSHC and needing to continue with their regular sessions will need to confirm days at the end of each year, as bookings do not automatically carry across. This is communicated and confirmed with parents/caregivers in Term 4.

Fees will be charged until the end of term 4 for all sessions.

Casual and Permanent Bookings

Once enrolment forms have been received,  requested sessions can be booked.

Permanent bookings are locked into the system and incur the full session fee, regardless of a child’s attendance. Any changes to a permanent booking are outlined below.

Casual places are subject to availability. To secure a place please book before a session.  Due to our Licence requirements children must be booked into sessions. Children can be accepted last minute or in EMERGENCY situations when the school or parent advises WOOSHC (and only if positions are available subject to our licensed operating capacity).

How to Book

  • By booking through the Xplor home App
  • Email your request to wideviewooshc@gmail.com
  • Directly to the Centre on 02 9456 6513 during Centre hours or a message may be left on the answering machine.

Changes to Booked Sessions

Please advise the service manager of any changes to your session. e.g. your child will be away on holidays or visiting with friends via email, or phone.

The Supervisor on Duty will record your child’s name in WOOSHC diary for the requested absent.

Changes to booked sessions or casual bookings need to be in writing.

You will still be charged for the session even if your child does not attend.

Cancellations of Booked Sessions

This can be done through the Xplor app, emailing wideviewooshc@gmail.com or calling us on ph 02 9456 6513

2 weeks’ notice is required when making changes or dropping days on permanent booked sessions.

Casual sessions can be cancelled 24hours prior.

2 weeks’ notice is required when cancelling permanent bookings/enrolment. Failure to provide two weeks’ notice will mean the bond will not be refunded. PLEASE NOTE –

CCS will not be applied before your child physically attends the service and after a child has physically ended care at your service. If during your notice period, you do not attend your booked sessions full fees will be charged and no CCS applied from the last physical attendance of the child. **YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CCS FOR ABSENCES AT THE START AND END OF CARE**

What are my Responsibilities for Receiving Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?

When receiving CCS you are responsible for keeping the Australian Government up-to-date and notifying them when your circumstances change.

Here is a checklist of responsibilities; and what you need to do:

  • Sign into your centrelink online account through myGov, we suggest doing this on a computer not a mobile device.
  • Select complete your childcare subsidy assessment task.
  • Work through the steps to provide new information and confirm your current details. Often the enrolment start date is NOT the date your child’s first attendance is scheduled; please do not dispute the enrolment for this.

Step 1- Sign into your myGov account.

Step 2- Link myGov to Centrelink. You can do this under services.

Step 3- Select Centrelink and complete the childcare subsidy assessment
