Wideview Out Of School Hours Care (affectionately known as WOOSHC) is a not for profit school age education and care service. We provide care for families of the Wideview Public School community for BASC, looking after children in years K – 6.
At WOOSHC we aim to provide a fun, warm, caring and safe environment where children can choose between structured activities and free play. We pride ourselves on offering a quality service, with a dynamic, child centred program, a dedicated team of educators and excellent facilities.
We are licensed to care for 145 children in Before and After School Care, and for Vacation Care and Pupil Free Days.
The WOOSHC vacation care program is offered to the community and we accept children from other schools for Vacation Care and Pupil Free days.

WOOSHC is located on the school grounds of Wideview Public School

Our main building is on the southern boundary of the school near the play equipment. We also use a small building near the staff carpark.
WOOSHC utilises the tennis courts, cricket pitch, library, outdoor equipment and other sporting and outdoor areas by agreement with Wideview Public School.
Our hours
Before School: 6.30am – 9am
After School: 3pm – 6.30pm
Pupil free Days: 7am – 6.30pm
Vacation Care: 7am – 6.30pm
The Centre is closed on Public Holidays unless otherwise notified.
The Centre is open on School strike days unless otherwise notified.
CANCELLATION –
Parents are required to provide two weeks written notice of cancellation of enrolment. Failure to provide two weeks’ notice will mean the bond will not be refunded.
