About WOOSHC

WOOSHC is a not for profit School Aged Education and Care service offered through Wideview P&C Association.

We operate Before and After School Care, as well as a Vacation Care  program during school holidays. 

WOOSHC offers their vacation care program to the wider community and  accepts children from other schools.

Planned Activities And Spontaneous Play

Don’t be deceived by the relaxed atmosphere at WOOSHC – we offer plenty of opportunities for children to learn. What makes us different is our motto – Learning Through Play.

Our play based experiences offer opportunities for children to learn, grow and develop, whether they are playing in the garden, painting a picture, constructing with Lego or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

At WOOSHC we strive to maintain a child centred program, and we use a planning cycle to ensure that the children are at the centre of everything we do. Our planned activities may include craft, cooking, physical activities, science and technology, gardening and much more.

Whilst at WOOSHC each child’s interests and choices are respected and valued as we understand each child is unique.  We believe that facilitating children’s ideas are important, and are the focus of our program.
